22. Roxanne

After the most amazing sex ever, Chad pulls me into his arms, kissing me. Every time he kisses me, I feel like melting, as though I could self combust. Being with him is so much better than I ever imagined it could be.

We’re still lying naked in his bed, our legs entangled and his arms around my waist. He’s smiling at me and I laugh, feeling suddenly self-conscious.

“What’s up baby?” he asks.

“I was just thinking about Jessie.”

He chuckles, deep, putting a hand to his heart. “Why are you thinking about your brother after we just fucked?

“I don’t know. I guess I just feel guilty.”

“Yeah, I get you. But you’re a grown woman Rox. You don’t have to tell him anything.”

“I know, but I feel like I should, especially now.”

“Yeah, why is that?”

I scoot closer to him, hoping that he won’t get angry at me for what I’m about to say. Softly I tell him, “Jessie’s getting married to Teagan in a couple of months.”

“Yeah, sucks for him.”

“Maybe you should make amends with him.”

“I don’t know if I can Rox. Especially because he’s still marrying her after what she did.”

“Was it all her fault though?”

He playfully grabs my side, taunting me, “Hey, whose side are you on?”

“Yours, I just want my brother to be happy. And you too.”

“I know Rox. But she kissed me. I did kinda want her, but I never made a move. I wouldn’t do that.”

“I know that. And I think deep down Jess does too, but he loves Teagan and it was easier to push you away, given your history.”

“Yeah, I’m not proud of the old me Rox. But honestly, I only behaved that way because I thought I couldn’t have you.”

“I’ve always wanted you Chad.”

“I know. And I’m sorry for taking so long to own up to my feelings for you. Once we kissed after the karaoke it was only you I wanted Rox.”

“Yeah, so will you make amends with Jessie? For me?” I ask, giving him my best puppy dog eyed pout.

“Fine, but only because you’re asking me to,” He agrees, with a nod. “And because you look so damn cute and sexy right now.”

We both laugh, and he kisses me hard and passionately taking my breath away. Being with him has only made me love him more, but I’m worried my older brother isn’t going to like the fact I’m with Chad. I’m scared for his reaction, but I don’t want to hide anything from him.

Pulling back from Chad’s kiss, I smile at him before closing my eyes.

“You tired, baby?” he asks me, kissing my forehead softly, his lips brushing my hairline.

“Yeah,” I groan.

“Must have been the multiple orgasms you had,” he jeers, pulling the sheet up over us. The word orgasms sounds so illicit coming from his lips; I want to hear it again.

“What did you say?” I murmur.

“Orgasms, Rox. I gave you multiple orgasms,” he says enunciating the words into multiple syllables.

“Mmm,” I murmur, turning in his embrace and kissing him, still with my eyes closed.
